Jesper Balser co-founded Navision in 1985 and under his management, the company grew over the next 18 years from a small Scandinavian business to an international provider of business software for medium-sized companies. The expansion included a successful stock market IPO in 1999, a well-organized merger with Damgaard in 2000 and culminated with Navision being acquired by Microsoft in 2002.
After ensuring a smooth transition from Navision to Microsoft, Jesper Balser left the company in 2004. Since then he has worked with venture investments and start-ups. So far none in the Navision world. Check out his LinkedIn profile below on this page.
Jesper originally comes from the Danish island Funen, where he graduated from Middelfart Gymnasium, before starting his engineering studies at DTU (Denmark Technical University).
