I have a problem with one of our customers. One of the workers has a new laptop, and needs to install the NAV client on it. The installation DVD ins't on the server, someone has erased it....
The version is 9.0.42815.0. Looking to the documentation, seems to be the very first version of NAV2016, without any CU. The DVD isn't available to download from the support page. Is there any way to download it? I know that is not the best way to work, but it is what it is, I know....
Any other way? If I install the client of a newer CU, will connect correctly with the server??
That's the RTM release of NAV 2016!!! You should really suggest to upgrade to the latest CU. For that you don't have to upgrade the application, just the clients and server components. The RTM release was (is) very buggy!
