Database Restore Failure - incorrect Checksum

Hi All,

I am getting an error when I am restoring Database in NAV 2009 R2.

"Database Restore Failure - incorrect Checksum"

Can anyone please help me to restore.

  • Looks like your backup is corrupted.

    (1) try to create an entire new SQL database and try restoring it again (2) if this
    doesn't work for you, restore the database into a C/SIDE database, then make
    a new backup and re-store it into a new SQL database.

    I tried to create new database from both NAV and SQL but It will not work for me.
    I want backup of the same date .... but if I take backup now it will be with today's date. If it's possible then please help.

    you do backup from higher version & tried to restore it in lower version.
