How can one trace indirect permission to the object the user has direct permission for? For example, if a user has indirect permission to update a table A, there is probably another entry in the permission table where the user has f.ex. execution permission to the object which can update the table A. So the question is, where can I find the relation between permission entries for user, to find the root of the indirect permission?
The relation between the indirect user permission to update a specific table is not to be found in any permission table. It is done by specifying the Permissions property to an object.
Take for example codeunit 80 (Sales-Post), here there is a long list of tabledata objects and which (indirect) permission the codeunit has to them.
Thank you Erik.
Do you think it is possible to read these information for objects / code-units from files or some data storage? I'm not sure I can get access to the programming environment.
