I'm doing different test thinking in a future customer we will have, that it will be a BC installation in cloud, no on-premise, just web client.
In a docker I have hosted in our server, I've created a new enterprise in the web client. I muist do everything in the webClient, thinking that in our future customer, we will only have that possibility.
I've found an important issue when trying to create the G/L account. I don't have any specified one, so I want to export the one existign in Cronus. How can I do it? Because as I see, rapidStart isn't active in the webClient, am I right? Should I add all the accounts one by one?
Thnak you very much
Sorry about this question. I've just found that rapidstart, at least in NAV BC web client, now is called just "configuration packages", no rapidStart....
When it comes to the cloud version of Business Central then out-of-the-box you can use the web client and the universal clients (the apps for Windows, iPhone, Android smartphones and tablets etc.). You cannot use the Windows desktop client directly. The only exception is if you run an on-premise/cloud hybrid, what they call the Intelligent Edge. Here you have an on-premise BC which automatically replicates to and from the cloud. This allows you to use the Windows desktop client also. But even here, then don't expect this option to be available many releases into the future...
As to RapidStart not being available, then you are wrong. But you may need to change your profile to the implementer (maybe called something else now).
Yes, RapidStart as such has never really been called RapidStart in NAV either. It was always just to search for the "Configuration Packages".
This is it, I found it by chance
With all this changes, are more changes that are coming too soon, i was getting mad!
Thank you Erik!!
I know what you mean, happens to me to, sometimes you cannot see the forest for all the trees... I
