New season has opened for the Belgian Dynamics Community, which means: new sessions, new dates, new initiatives .. but using the same concept: Connection days... .
With the help of your feedback we decided to continue organizing the sessions according to last year's successful formula. That means that 4 new Connection Days are coming your way. However, the submitted feedback forms and the informal talks during the networking drinks also learned us a few things that helped us evolve the concept and the priorities. As an example of such a change you'll see that each session now indicates if it is aimed mainly at a technical or at a functional audience.
More importantly, you will be happy to learn that we have made it our number one goal to offer you the best content as well as a welcoming environment where you can meet and share experiences with other Dynamics enthusiasts. Come and find it out for yourself during our "season opener" Connection Day which features not only interesting topics, but also proven and international speakers. Like usual, there will be plenty of networking opportunities after the event.
That was the text we send out with our last newsletter (you can subscribe to our newsletters here), but it covers exactly what we have been doing, and will be doing.
30 September: BDC Connection Day: Optimization
On Thursday September 30 at 18:30 the BDC organizes the first Connection Day of the 2010/2011 season. The general theme of the evening is Optimization. You can Register here...

Keynote - The ins and outs of process optimization with SureStep 2010.

Most of us may have been in contact with or have at least already heard about SureStep 2010. But what is its real value in light of process optimizations? Is SureStep 2010 merely a theoretical implementation methodology or can it really help us optimize our processes irrespective of the stage of an implementation cycle.

NAV Track - Performance Optimization & Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009
(Hynek Muhlbacher, SQL Perform)
Performance is a key factor in a successful Dynamics NAV implementation on SQL Server. This was a reason we organized this session, which will give you an overview of the infrastructure aspects as well as the challenges in application design and tuning. In a 1-hour session, Hynek will handle some general recommendations, a few best practices, and a case study. Afterwards, there is time for an interactive chat with Hynek where you have the chance to really talk about any performance-related topic with one of the most experienced NAV-performance specialist around.

He is coming to Belgium ... and you shouldn't miss out on this!
C U all on the 30th!
Well well .. the community is growing :-). That's a good sign.
