In my search for a NLD version of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 RoleTailored Client Terminology slide deck I was pointed by the Dutch MBS PMM Aldert Kadijk to a site I had never been aware of: Microsoft Language Portal.
Next to the fact that you can search for any ENU term and it's local translation (and vice versa) it provides a number of downloads:
Wasn't able to download everything yet, but the Style Guide for sure is worthwhile for those who write user assistance documentation like Online Help.
Just entered some terms to see the results. Funny to see this one:
Do you see what I mean? Navision is still there at MS.
I had the same experience and also in the past and I knew my former MS colleague Daniel Goldschmidt helped me out then ... and he recently did help for the same on mibuso: mibuso.com/.../viewtopic.php
Yes, Navision may well be still there, but this is *AWESOME*.
But, are you able to use the Style Guides - I've downloaded a couple, they contain a help file, but when I open that help file, it just doesn't show any content, I only see the structure in the left navigation menu, but the content area is just an empty HTML message saying "Navigation was cancelled". Is it the same for you too?
