This update does not require database conversion from previous version, and there is no known security vulnerabilities fixed in this Platform version.
Since the Business Central 14 version is getting a bit oldish, you should really start considering upgrading your BC14 to BC16. Please note that upgrade options from BC14 to later versions are also limited. According to Microsoft BC Update Compatibility Matrix, BC 14.17 can be updated only to BC 15.11 or BC 16.6, so the Cumulative updates are “in sync” and cannot be updated to earlier versions of the platform.
The ChangeLog for Finnish localization weighs 109kb, and there is only 30 changed objects and no new objects, so this can be considered a minor update.
When I inspected the code, It appears that this CU concentrates mostly on adjusting some anomalities in VAT rate change tool new functionalities and reservation handling for Transfer orders.
Overall, CU16 for BC14 is quite uninteresting update, unless you really need to update an extension and have to use TableSynchSetup.Mode::Force, which is the only reported fix in the platform side.
