Review of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Application Design by Mark Brummel

Last month a new book on Microsoft Dynamics NAV was published by Packt Publication written by Mark Brummel. I like his contributions (blogs & replies on Mibuso & DUG).  Today I have got a copy of his book and started reading it. Besides the other topics, this book covers Jobs module also in detail with some customisations and enhancement.    PS:  The book is not limited to Jobs module, it covers a lot.

Thanks to Packt Publication for publishing books on NAV, as earlier there was not enough study material related to NAV and it was always difficult for new comers to learn NAV.

Following is a link to sample chapter of the book:   https://www.packtpub.com/sites/default/files/0967-chapter-8-consulting.pdf

Once I am through with the book, I will write a review for my readers here.

PS: A correction, The book is not limited to Jobs module, it covers a lot.

  • Thanks for reading my book Raj.

The book however covers much, much more than just the Jobs module of NAV.

It illustrates the design concepts of Dynamics NAV, its out of the box possibilities, how they are designed and how they can be enhanced.

    Enjoy the book.

    /Mark

  • Hi,

Sorry, about that. What I wanted to mention is that besides the other topic, it covers Jobs module ALSO in detail alongwith some customisations/ enhancements. I believe this module is not covered in other books. I will correct it there.
