FaultException `1 An item with the same key has already been added.

Hi everyone!

I am new in customizing the dynamics CRM 2011. I am importing data through sync function.

I created a c# solution that will retrieve data from a source database, then import it in CRM through the Create method.

The problem is, I encountered the error:

"An item with the same key has already been added."

 

The entity where I'm supposed to create a record is still empty. That is why I'm wondering where the error came from.

 

Any help will be highly appreciated.

  • This error can be related to field type mismatch. If you have had the organization customization synchronized between them and a later date, a field is deleted and recreated with a new type using the same schema name, When the field that is mismatched and is bound to a view or with no bindings at all, you will get specific error indicating the exact field causing  the problem. If the field is bound to a form you will receive this error.
