As I enter my fourth year at AKA Enterprise Solutions (a leading Microsoft Dynamics Gold Partner) I want to share a bit about why I love working here. A little about me: I received training in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM in college, started work immediately after graduating, and have worked for AKA as a Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant ever since.
Here are the top 6 things I love about working at AKA:
Everyone’s preferences are a little different when it comes to their dream job scenario. Some people would prefer an office job in a big city, while others would rather work from home in a smaller town. Some prefer a predictable schedule in a permanent location, while others love the opportunity to travel for work.
At AKA, any one of these scenarios (or even a combination of them) is possible because our client engagements vary considerably and the technology we support allows us to stay connected and provide value from anywhere. For one engagement, we may build a team that’s available on-site for an extended period of time. In another scenario, a team may only meet with a client in person once every month or so. This means that team members are able to live, travel, and work with flexibility. For example, I currently split my time between working from home and being on the road. This gives me the chance to visit family in other parts of the country, experience new places, and still spend time at home with the people I love.
Some companies reserve incentives and bonuses for their sales team. But at AKA, everyone who meets their annual goals is rewarded. For the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel with my husband on a tropical getaway as part of AKA’s Presidents’ Club program. It’s great working for a company that shows this level of appreciation for its employees.
AKA employs some of the most talented and capable people in the ERP, CRM and Cloud software industries. Whether we’re working with a financial services company, a nonprofit organization, or anything in between, we always go above and beyond to provide our clients with the highest level of service possible. It feels good to know that you work for a company that consistently exceeds client expectations.
While providing clients with the services they need is rewarding in and of itself, there’s something particularly fulfilling about working for an employer that acknowledges your efforts. AKA does just that. It’s not just incentives and annual vacation packages, either. For example, AKA offers additional compensation to employees who spend a lot of time on the road. The management team makes a point of letting employees know that their work is appreciated, too. All of this contributes to a better working environment.

The AKA team may be spread across North America, but this doesn’t mean we have a lack of company culture. On the contrary, AKA does a great job of making employees feel connected. With an annual party at our New York City HQ and company-wide recognition of team member achievements, you really feel like you belong to a community of professionals. On a day to day basis, remote meetings include video conference so we get to see each other and have more personalized interactions. AKA also hosts regional employee dinners every quarter so employees located in the same geographic regions can get together. Employees even participate in bonding activities and remote exercises as part of AKA’s effort to provide a connected company culture.
