Appreciate the calculation includes all sold and deducted stock but is there any way to strip out all stock adjustments please?
Obviously this is subject for a customization
First, because you need to explain to a developer the difference between a stock adjustment and other output transactions
Second, because I would be interested to see the real point where my stock is expected to be consumed in any way - sold, consumed (in production or outside), or counted
Anyway, I hope you're trying to use the safety stock calculation for what it was meant to be used, that is to define the stock level where you'll need to order for supply based on the stock turnover habit
Thanks, I give it a go to figure it out.
It is also a valid usage to be included in the calculation. You are using it. Therefore if you strip the out and then base your safety stock without them you are fine as long as you never stock adjust, in that case you will suddenly find you are always out of stock of the item because the level is not taking into account usage that manifests as a stock adjustment.
What is the justification for removing adjustments?
