When trying to check in a object from AX to VSTS. I get below error. The object is a simple job with no compiler errors and BP warnings
"$/DynamicsAX/Main/Jobs/Job52.xpo does not meet the quality bar."
There are no check in policies added on source control.
Is there a option to disable quality checks on VSTS? Any suggestions please.
The reason is that the Job52 isn't an allowed name. The same would be true for Class1, Table55 etc. These clearly aren't good, descriptive names.
If you really want these names (which you shouldn't :)), the setup is at the Object rules tab in Version control > System settings.
Job52 was previously checked in to VSTS when adding the model to source control and when any object is checked out and tried to check in again, we get this error regardless of the object name.
Under system settings, I am unable to find object rules tab but got 'exclude element names tab', which hasn't got any names added but still I get the quality error.
Sorry, I don't have AX 2012 anymore, so I can't check the actual names. Here is at least the documentation: How to: Add Rules for Elements [AX 2012].
