I am facing one problem with Balance sheet report. Actually I had ran the transfer of Opening balances from 2012 to 2013 in AX 2009. After that balances for Balance sheet accounts transferred to 2013 and for Profit & Loss accounts balances had been transferred to Retain earnings account.
Next, I had taken Trail balance for 2012 & 2013 and both are correct. But Balance sheet for 2012 is showing zero balances whereas 2011 & 2013 are showing balance amounts correctly. There is a problem with only Balance sheet 2012 which is showing zero balances.
Before running this transfer:
1) GL parameters for "Fiscal year close" were selected except SET PERIOD STATUS TO YEAR CLOSED.
2) END DATE is 12-31-2012 and Transfer method is Closing -> Opening
3) Account selected to transfer of Year end results is Retained earnings
And then proceed for transfer.
I request you to help me on this. Let me know what might be the problem with this or something that I missed here.
In addition to the above post, I found one more that is Balance sheet for from 1-1-2012 to 12-31-2012 only showing zero amounts. If I run the same report for different dates (JAN TO NOV or DEC 1st to DEC 31st or only for JAN 2012) it is showing balances but only if I run 1-1-2012 to 12-31-2012 it is showing zero balances.
