Item Requirement Safety Stock

We have recently removed the Coverage Minimum Stock from a purchased item, however master planning appears to continue to generate Planned Orders for the quantity it was previously set to. In the Requirements Profile for the Item, a Planned Order for this quantity is generated which is pegged to 'Safety Stock'. How is this possible when the Min Stock is now set to zero? Any information gratefully received.

  • In essence it wont. Can you post a picture of the net requirements and where you set the safety stock to zero?
