How to disable print button when report already printed

Hi Guys!

has anyone already do this?

Sames question with this >>>> Link1 and Link2

and also have a setup or maintenance that can reprint "Request reprint".

Invoice >> Print DR Report..

Then disable button Print DR..

And a Module that can Un-tag or uncheck the Print status ..

That's it..

but if ax doesn't have module of unheck print status, then i will prioritize first on how to disable button after the DR Report was print.

then if has problems like paper jam, then i just update through back end

No such functionality in standard.

You can add a field that tells whether the report is printed and enable/disable the button based on that field.

Customer collection letters in AX keep the track of whether they are printed or not. You can use the similar approach.

Hi Kranthi,

i follow what you've said. take a look my code below.

I add field as enum NOYESID.

What i want to happen is, when the user print the report In Report Viewer/Window the field turn YES(1) that tells report is printed and then that Report Viewer/Window automatically close.

but i'm stock now..

after breaking point i see that i catch the record but when checking database run the query, Still 0

can you help me about this.?

You are not calling the update after setting is printed field.
Where you are calling this updatePrinted method?

call - invoicejour.doupdate(); after setprinted() and before ttsCommit;

I miss that one.

i have three(4) things to do..

1. Disable the button
2. Automatic close the Report Window after they print.
3. a Module that can Un-tag or uncheck the Print status
4. add series number on how they reprint..

can you help on 1 & 2 kranthi.?
