To recreate the error:
Edit Profile -> Email Tab -> change receive email responses to threads I post in (No -> Yes) -> Save

By "Freaked out" do you mean the warning it gave you saying that you have used the same email address twice
Basically you have two different ids using the same email address. I have deleted you old ID, and merged the posts into this girish.joshi the other id only has one post, and probably was created in mbsonline.
I have set the notificiations so you will probably get an email for this.
PS for future reference, it helps to have the actual error message, though with my experienc ein the NAV world, "Freaked Out" is better than a lot of the error message descriptions I get.
