Were looking at purchasing a Help Desk software package to help out our I.T. Department.
Right now we have a small Access database program and my boss wants a lot more out of it.
Any recommendations for one? There seems to be quite a few packages out there to choose from.
We have developed a help desk addon ( in Nav ) - SD Help Desk. We use this internally to handle our own helpdesk and is currently in beta test in one of our customers. The factsheet can be downloaded from the vertical section our site.
Of course you can have a search on solution finder for other add-ons

We have used the service module of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. With a few mods it's actually really great!

We are using Help Desk software from David Singleton.
We use it internally and install for our customers to handle support tasks. It is very easy to use and quite flexible... Integrated with e-mail and job system... users can place support requests directly in NAV, attach screenshots and e-mail to helpdesk... All interactions recorded in NAV together with resolution...
Will recommend to everybody - simple and very helpful.
