Hi, You might want to reconsider this. If you give someone access to take a backup, then this person have FULL ACCESS (incl. all data) if he restores this copy to a local PC!

On a day to day basis I wouldn't recommend anyone running NAV on a SQL Server to use the NAV backups. I would always use the SQL Server backup in my maintenance plans.
