Do you think Microsoft should change the names again?

The change from Navision, Axapta and Great Plains og Dynamics NAV, AX and GP etc. is making less and less people ask for the products. Do you think that Microsoft is killing the Dynamics products?

    Hi Subrata, I would always take the new version. Only if the version had been released with a few months, and it had been a major upgrade, then I would consider taking the previous version. So to your question, then I would NEVER upgrade anyone to a version 4.0 as this version is almost at it's end...

    Thanks for your reply. I think I will just give it a go on our test server to get some experience with the procedure. I already thought that it would not be a problem, but a bit of reassurance is always nice. B.t.w. No I did not really want to install another 4.0 DB, I'd rather install a NAV2009...

    Thursday the 18th of December Microsoft actually uploaded the new Upgrade toolkit to all Group 1 countries (except Denmark). I have uploaded the toolkit to the Download section , including the Enhanchement documents (NAV 3.70 to NAV 2009 and NAV 4.00 to NAV 2009).

    Realizing this thread is over two years old, I thought I would update everyone on Avalara's NAV connector. Over the course of the last couple of years we have made significant enahncements and improvements to our connector for NAV and GP. In addition we have launched our connector for AX as well...
