Do you think Microsoft should change the names again?

The change from Navision, Axapta and Great Plains og Dynamics NAV, AX and GP etc. is making less and less people ask for the products. Do you think that Microsoft is killing the Dynamics products?

    Run planning, it will tell you what you need depending upon the setup of the item, alternatively look at the estimated quantity required on teh works order, this will tell you. If it is telling you 2 then you need to review your setups. What do you want it to tell you?

    A phantom BOM is a BOM structure that is not an item, a sub assembly. Basically they are the 'recipe' of something that you don't intend to actually store as a unit. You would use it as a component of another BOM. You can have a manufactured Item made up of sub assemplies and other items...

    I have a question for everybody Bom scrap is 10% Route scrap is 20% Quantity per production is 2 component Now I want to produce 100 finish production How to calculate amount of component which is necessary to produce 100 finish production. Thanks and regards,

    This looks like either a subcontraction Production order or BOM journal. You should set up a BOM and it should be able to handled via Production with type "Vendor" or simply a BOM journal. You may want to attach a Purchase order to the Production order as well.
