Hello friends!!!

Can anyone explain to me how does this check box work in the production process? I noticed that when I select it, the warehouse that is brought by default from the storage dimensions disapperas. What is supposed to happen with the raw materials consumption, when they have this check box selected?

Thanks a lot!!

Héctor

In many businesses there will be multi-production sites. In these sites the same item maybe produced. If you set the BOM to be site specific you need to define one for EACH site. However if you use this tick box you can create one BOM for all sites. What then happens is the system looks at the warehouse where the production order is raised. It then looks at the route and the produciton unit attached to teh route. This has a picking warehouse. Then if you auto-consume the system knows where to get the stock from even though you have not defined the site and warehouse on teh BOM line.
