I have uploaded following tables for uploading  item master.

1.EcoResProduct
2.EcoResProductTranslation

3.InventTable

4.InventItemGroupItem
5.InventmodelGroupItem

6.InventTableModule

7.EcoResStorageDimensionGroupItem
8.EcoResTrackingDimensionGroupItem

9.InventItemPurchSetup
10.InventItemSalesSetup
11.InventItemInventSetup

I can see the item in release products.

I have not released the products to any company (in some of th tables system asked me the
data area id i.e company number which I provided in my file being uploaded)

My question is do I need to release these products though these items are already appearing in "released products"??

Note:I am not usin product configuration/ product master

That would point to your import being wrong, unless you have coded it to be released, but then as you have asked this question I would giess not.

Manually create a released product and look at the table differences with your import. It is a case of table analysis and understanding the end result you are trying to achieve.

Sanax,

would you mind telling me how you uploaded these two tables; 7.EcoResStorageDimensionGroupItem and 8.EcoResTrackingDimensionGroupItem ?

i am using excel add in for import, but i am getting a publishing error that goes like " Document Generic document could not be updated. Error details: " with no explanations.

please let me know if you have any idea.

thanks in advance

Usually products will be released when it gets written into 'InventTable'.
