Hello All.

Start any Client  ( 2.60 - 5 .01) with Native local database ( can be with Cronus ).

Start any report report scanning some entries (e.g. "Detail Trial Balance").

At this moment:

monitoring disk performance counter  "Avg. Disk Bytes /Read" = 8192.

May be somebody knows - why ?

Navision ALWAYS transfers from/ to disk in 8 KB portions?

Best regards

J :)

Thanks for your interest, Jonathan.

Well, about my real problems I'll write later, I think it will be another trend. :)

And now I just try understand - is it real, that Navision ALWAYS works with information portions of 8KB,

or that can be somehow changed, or "it depends"...

Hm... I'm surprised.

Why Windows "don't like" Navision? Smile

Would you mind giving a clue why it is that way?
