A coworker is having an issue with the send to excel option.  She is trying to export G/L entries.  For one account in one company, when she clicks Send to Excel, we get an OS error.  Below is the error

Does anyone have an idea how to fix it?

I resolved this.  I found a bad character in the description field on a G/L entry.  When i removed the char, it exported to Excel with no problems.

First off I'd try running it on a different computer and see if that fixes it.

Other people smarter than me might have more things to try.

I just ran this on a copy of the database on my machine and it get a runtime error.

Does anyone have an idea of what would cause this?

Hi dmauldin - i am having this exact error. Please assist with more details on how you resolved the issue i.e. a step by step through the menus and forms or tables would really help. Many thanks in advance.
