Navision-upgradation from 2.5 to 5.0

We are planning to upgrade from 2.5 to 5.0sp1. we have customized the existing database and would like to bring all the controls and customisation in 5.0 also. pls. advise, where we should start and how we should go ahead.

If you work for a NAV partner, then you need to get someone more senior involved, and let them explain how this works. If you work for an end user, then you need to get your NAV partner involved. This is not the right place to learn how to do this. We'll be happy to help with specific questions, but I think if you have no clue then for your sake you should get more direct assistance.

Hi.

I have to agree with the previous post.

The upgrade process is quite complex and is only something a well versed Navision trained person should take on. What's even more, you are upgrading from 2.5 to 5.0 - that's a big jump and many changes have been incorporated into the core product ... therefore you may not need some of your customised code OR it may need to change due to the core product changes.
