DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED: - Experience with supporting/implementing Navision version 4.0+ - C-Side - SQL (Standard Query Language) skills and ability to understand data relational models - Ability to understand basic software implementation lifecycle concepts - Ability to learn Business Intelligence concepts and technologies - Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills - Good communication skills and a friendly empathetic demeanor - Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills - Ability to work alone or in a team environment
PREFERRED: - Bachelors degree - Experience with supporting/implementing the Alpha Landsteiner ( now K3 ) Retail Navision solution - Experience with Navision Warehouse Management System (WMS) module - Experience with the Navision Application Scheduler (NAS) and/or Data Director - Experience with a variety of development methodologies (i.e. .Net, VB, SQL, etc…) - Experience in Visual Basic, C++, scripting languages, coupled with a strong emphasis on object-oriented design and implementation is preferred - Experience with Business Intelligence concepts and systems and SSRS reports NO travel is required! Provide development and support for the rollout of the European Navision System (EuroNAV) supporting business in Europe, Australia and Canada. The key skill set is configuring, implementing, developing and/or supporting a Microsoft Navision environment including but not limited to: - Configuration, documentation and support of all current and future Navision Systems. - Make suggestions to management, based on current and emerging technologies, on methods to reduce costs, improve performance and availability, and reduce administration time for the Navision systems. - Research, test, and apply all applicable patches. - Learn and support the existing platforms and understand company development methodologies & technologies.
