I created a database on the Nav SQL Server. I restored a backup and tried to synchronize but did not complete successfully, giving an error: The user name "XXXX" does not exist on the SQL Server. I created the database using Windows Authentication but once i exited navision and tried to re-enter the database using the same authentication type it is giving me problems.

Can you give a detailed explanation of exactly why you are using enhanced security, the benefits it gives to your company, and the process you used to determine why to use enhanced over standard?

If not just switch to standard and be done with it.

Hi Dennis,

Could you check in the SQL server database for the list of users in the navision having user mapping specified for this database.
