What you’ll do as an ERP Consultant:
ERP Implementation Consultant will be focused on the delivery, implementation of Microsoft's Dynamics GP (Great Plains) business solutions. The Consultant should have technical or functional skills in SQL Server (light skill set only), dealing with a variety of people and end users and excellent communication skills which will be used in performing these tasks. As a Consultant you will be part of our team that will use problem-solving skills to develop and implement the Dynamics GP solutions and ISV/companion products for our clients.
Responsibilities
*Install and configure SQL 2000 and SQL 2005, Dynamics GP, Many ISV companion products *Perform business requirements analysis and design *Perform gap analysis between Dynamics GP functionality and client's requirements *Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client requirements. Work with development team to communicate needed enhancements where necessary. *Train users on new business processes and using Microsoft training guides for Dynamics GP.
Candidate Requirements:
What you Must have to apply:
*4 year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent *MBA a plus; CPA a big plus – or accounting experience *3+ years experience implementing ERP solutions - financial, payroll and distribution modules. Manufacturing a plus but not required. Human Resources a plus but not required. *Experience with Dynamics solutions (Great Plains, Axapta, Solomon, Navision, CRM) a plus *Consulting organization experience required *Reporting tools: Crystal (helpful), FRx (required), GP Report Writer (basic skills required), SQL a plus but not required
*Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills *4 year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent *Experience with Dynamics solutions (Great Plains, Axapta, Solomon, Navision, CRM) *Proven track record in software implementation and structured implementation methodologies
