    Kit Disassembly

Has anyone worked with the Kit Disassembly functionality of Nav 5.0?  If so, how does it work?  How do you execute the disassemble?

    Thanks

    Re: Kit Disassembly

Disassembly is an option on the BOM journal, as is Assembly.

Disassembly is done as a negative adjustment, and a series of positive adjustments to the components.  Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the cost of the components will roll back up to the cost of your assembled good.  The difference is posted to an expense account.

If you want to distribute the costs to the components, you will need to consider a modification.
