Navision Administrator - Assistant Financial Systems Controller - Great Salary! and Amazing Benefits!

We are a private equity backed education startup, is looking for a highly experienced, self-motivated, Assistant Financial System Controller who is ambitious and wants to grow with us. We are starting a network of proprietary schools with the purpose of building, acquiring and growing an elite family of international K-12 schools in Europe, Latin America, the United States and Asia. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting Navision systems operations at all business unit operations 
• Support user needs on Jet Reports (financial reporting tool)
• Able to communicate with users on the phone or by web conferencing system to resolve problem on Navision or other system problem related to but not directly connect to financial system function and reporting
• Can support the Navision projects with download, uploads, setup, and layout and other Navision implementation issue via remote communication or in the field depending on the location on the implementation project
• Can write procedures, layout flow charts and support the continuing development of the Navision Operational Instructions and Financial Controls Manual
• Must be able to training new or existing users on Navision or other applications that are added in the future
• Understand and able to work on software and hardware problems related to Navision that user may have
• Able to learn new systems, improve existing products
• Work with vendors to find additional support products for Navision
• Insure that the Navision Database is kept current with updates, hot-fixes and other changes
• Support the work of Financial Systems Controller
• Identify system area that need improvement and present cost affective solutions
• Able to multi-task  and learn quickly
  

Requirements:

• Must know and have worked on Navision for 2 to 3 years on implementation, support and system improvements (if you do not have RECENT Navision skills and background do not apply for the position)
• Have some type of Finance and System background or Business Analyst with systems experience
• Some level of programming coding (certification required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex problems within the technical arena and develop creative and practical solutions.

• Demonstrated initiative, organization, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and good judgment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make oral presentations

• Ability to manage time and resources efficiently

• Degree required in: BS in Computer Science, with a Minor in Business, Finance, or Major in Business with a Minor in Computer Science or degree in one of the two fields with five year work experience
• Foreign language skills a plus (Spanish, French & Portuguese) but not required
• Able to work late at night or on weekends when needed depending on the project or deadlines
