I'm trying to get Alerts going for my users. The problem I've got is that the "View alerts" is not available to users (either via the view menu or the alarm bell icon). If people are set up as administrators then this is all visibile so it's probably something to do with the security settings. However, i can't find anywhere that allows me to switch this on. I'm using AX v 4.0 SP2. Can anyone else help?

It came down to security permissions in the end. In the "basic" module grant full control to all the Alert options. Then you can selectively remove the irrelevant ones. I can export my set up and email it if that helps.
