Candidates can reside in or near any one of our practice locations: Tampa, Orlando or Dallas. The Great Plains Implementation Consultant will be focused on the delivery and implementation of Microsoft's Great Plains ERP solution and will have developed functional skills in Great Plains (manufacturing, distribution, financials/core) that will be used in performing these tasks. Consultants may also play a project management role for smaller clients and projects. Responsibilities: Install and configure Great Plains v9.0 Perform business requirements analysis and design Perform gap analysis between Great Plains functionality and client's requirements Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-arounds to meet client requirements Train users on new business processes and using Great Plains Develop data conversion and testing strategies Education, Certifications and Experience: 4 year degree in business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent; CPA a plus MBA degree preferred Experience with Great Plains v9.0 required Microsoft Great Plains Certification, preferred 3+ years experience implementing Great Plains Financial, Manufacturing and/or Distribution modules Experience with core business processes such as accounting, distribution, manufacturing Functional expertise in Great Plains required Experience with other MBS solutions (Axapta, Solomon, Navision) a plus Consulting organization experience, preferred Experience with integration tools and 3rd party add on modules a plus Experience with reporting tools: Crystal, FRx, Report Writer Knowledge of Great Plains customization tools Ability to manage individual budget and scope of work Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus **We will look at relocating candidates for this position**
