The field you must look at is "Qty. per Unit of Measure".

This field contains the number of units the Code represents compared to the unit of measure code you have entered in the Base Unit of Measure  field on the resource card. You can enter a decimal number greater than or smaller than 1.

If, for example, the base unit of measure is HOUR, and the code is DAY, enter 8 in this field. However, if the base unit is DAY and you want to be able to sell a single hour, enter 1/8 in this field. (The program automatically converts this to 0.125.)

(From the F1 help text)

 Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion given by u.

But when assigning Code value as 8 in "Base Unit of Measure",an error pops out saying that ' Qty. per unit of measure must be 1 in Resource,Unit of Measure'.Pls give suggestions in this regards.

For the "Base Unit of Measure" the "Qty. per Unit of Measure" must always be 1!
