May be a stupid question, but is there a way to record incoming e mails from within NAV against a contact? Either as standard or with an add on?

Is this not a standard feature of Outlook Maillogging? I am under the impression that it keeps a copy of both outgoing and incoming emails, if NAV can find a match between a Contact email address and an address on the email.
Not sure which version of NAV you are using, but some of the older versions v4-ish, had a Whitepaper in the "docs" folder on the installation disk which may help you clarify this point.
