Dear All

we have installed Navision 4.0 at one of our client.

now we have to create a roles company wise (There are 2 companies in this database)

we have assigned company name to each user name.

when we try to open this database using any of the usernmae it gives error " YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO READ THE OBJECT TABLE".

both user is having Super permission.

Same concept we have in Navision 4.0 SP3 where there is no problem in opening database. is there any problem with Navision 4.0 for creating company wise user name .

Please help me out.

Thanks

Ashish

maybe your license doesn't support it...

try to check your license... safely use table no 50001

I wont think so that it is a licensing problem if you can do the same for 4.0 SP3.

Hi!

NAV 4.00 is "famous" for its trouble with user-rights-management No

A technical upgrade is strongly recommended, but meanwhile maybe this could help:

GRANT SELECT ON [Object] TO PUBLIC

Does this help?
