I am very new to X++ and Dynamics Reporting and need to find a way of obtaining the users login details and then using those details to restrict the data that the reports show by relating the users name to Reps Code.

I am looking for maximum flexibility so one report serves all. Hope you can assist.

Hi,

There is no need to start coding.  The integrated user group rights system is used to restrict access to the fields.  The row level security system gives selective access to the rows.
