Hej! .. har et lille prb. med filter i Navision når vi køre på SQL server.
nå man prøve at søge eller filter på et kontakt navn eks. "Aase" finder den ikke
noget selv om der faktisk er 135 enheder når vi fyre en sql af med Name Like '%Aase%, på samme tabel.

Hvordan sætter du filteret i Navision?

Hvilket 'Collation' bruger du lige nu?

Den du har sagt - 59 - er en gammel 'SQL Collation' og du bør ungå dem hvis du kan. Brug en 'Windows Collation' i stedet for.

Du har ret. Det var ikke smart med den Collation, efter lidt
test fik jeg en masse prb. med andre data kilder som skrive
til de SQL tabeller. Selv om de er af samme Collation som der
skrives med på Navision SQL Databasen, det virker bare ikke
hvis man ikke sætter den op til Windows Collation. Sad

Ok så det var en windows collation du fik problemet med. Hvis du prøver uden '@', ligseom "*Aase*", finder det noget?

Ikke andet - en jeg har konverter til "Scandinavian dictrionary sort order, code page 850, case-sensitive (59) " for at få den rigtigt sotering på klienterne, også taget højde for det i alle andre forespørgsler. - Linket fra "ohlfert" giver en rigtigt god forklaring på selve problemet.
