Dynamics NAV - SQL Server 2008 Runtime License
A while ago, I posted a blog about the SQL Server 2005 Runtime license. Well, recently I received the news that Microsoft created a Runtime License for SQL Server 2008 with Dynamics NAV as well (available from 1st of Januari 2009). Important to know is that there is 64-bit support now (when there was none in the previous version) … and it's the same price then the 32-bit version. It's even on the same CD.
I have the impression that the "restrictions" and pricing is quite the same as before, but please, get yourself properly informed before you're starting to sell the Runtime license! Just know that it has become a lot more interesting now, because of the 64-bit support
