Liking my new Microsoft Surface

I managed to get a new Microsoft Surface on the weekend and it’s an amazing little piece of kit. I like that it still has all the regular capabilities of Windows as you’d expect but with a reimagined UI. I especially like that you can still have account switching. This is great that then the family can share the machine and they are not messing up my stuff and for the kids I can just put on the apps that I want them to have under their profile. Refresh 4 – Web Part Script Message on Role Centers with KPI-BO WebPart

I’ve had a few questions about this one. In the Refresh 4 image we have SharePoint 2010, SQL 2008 R2 running on Windows 208 R2 and so when a Role Center loads that contains the KPI or Business Overview Webpart you will get this script error. If you click yes the page will still load. It’s annoyance but otherwise the page will load. You might also want to turn off the page reload that is in Tools\Options for the user you are using. Refresh 4 – Partnersource page

I’ve had quite a few questions about access to the video posted on the Partnersource page and the ability to get them. Seems the download will disconnect and the Partnersource team are looking into it. So I just wanted to point out that the setup videos are included in the ZIP file for the VM itself. So if you have go the VM down then you also have the videos for the setup and navigation. The videos for the setup were included in all 3 VM sets, Refresh 4, Refresh 3.5 and Refresh 3. AX4.0 VM

I’ve had a few people asking about getting a new AX4.0 VM because they still use it to support AX4.0 customers. We’ll be uploading a new version with the time bomb updated. You will however have to update the VM with your own license file. We’ll post a license file update after we post the VM. Just wanted to give a heads up. Hebrew language

I had a question about the Hebrew language on the demo VM. In Hotfix Rollup 3 the Hebrew language was enabled. You can apply HF RU3 on your demo VM but will have an issue because the VPC license needs to be updated.
