Ok, this is the last I'm going to blog about Dynamics NAV 2013 and Azure.

Just got a message from MSDynamicsWorld. According to their information an "Azure-hosted solution of some sort for NAV 2013" will be shipped in Q1 of next year.

Im curious about the "of some sort" part...

Following Directions in Rome earlier in the year I had NAV2013 beta running in Azure - as a service - not a virtual machine.  It took a while to get running but I was proud to have made it work.

What happened?  Are we saying that this isn't now possible with the release?

The key thing is what you say: It took a while to get it running. It does not make sense to remove simplicity for a single customer installation. This complexity belongs to a true Multi-tenacy configuration.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

All I know is MS reads my blog...
