  • Convergence 2012 Recap

    Convergence 2012 was an amazing event once again.  I spoke to several customers and partners who received a lot of value and confirmed the event was a huge success.

     

    A few highlights to share with everyone:

    - The largest Expo in Microsoft history.

    - The largest Convergence ever with over 10,000 attendees.

    - Forty percent of the customer attendees were existing Microsoft Dynamics GP customers.

    - We announced the name of our next major release, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013.

  • Convergence Monday

    Happy Monday Morning Everyone.  Today we have a big day at Convergence.  We have the keynote this morning being live streamed.  Also the Microsoft Dynamics GP General Session is at 11:00.  It will have updates on our product direction and will show you what's coming.  It's really exciting and has a huge amount of value.  It is a must go to session.

    The concurrent and interactive discussions start today as well.  Make sure to use Schedule Builder to plan each day.  Also plan to spend time in the Expo learning about all of the options available. It's open tonight from 6-9.  Technical Support is within the Expo area, so get all of your answers.

    At 2:00 another set of General Sessions are available including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Office.  We also have a Business Leadership general session about leading a culture of innvocation. 

    Yesterday was fantastic.  We have full sessions with a lot of value and excitement.  A good way to start Convergence.  Daughtry rocked the house.

    Lookíng forward to seeing you all at Convergence if I haven't seen you already.  Today officially is DayOne for GPUG with the assistance ot Microsoft.

    Convergence content and sessions kick off in earnest tomorrow, but you can already register at the conference center and come and visit us in the EXPO Experience area.  The support help desk is located in a central location next to the Expo.

    You can also catch great Microsoft Dynamics GP content delivered by the GPUG from 1:30 this afternoon. 

    Of of of course, the entire Microsoft Dynamics GP team will be at the Convergence Welcome Reception tonight.  Daughtry will be awesome.

    But don't stay too late the opening keynote with Kirill Tatarinov and Kevin Turner kick off already at 9am, with the Microsoft Dynamics GP General Session starting at 11.  I promise the General Session will get you excited and wow you for ther future.
