What exactly do you want to accomplish?

Upload files - what sort of files, where to upload them? Into tables, import xpo files?

And why do you want to do it from C#?

A general answer:

Basically, you have 2 options here:

- use command line arguments of Ax32.exe

- use .NET business connector.

So basically its a lot like CRM, in that you can run it on a Laptop, but you need the server setup to really do anything.

Or I guess a VM.

re: Introductory Post

Hey, David.
You can start by reading this:

http://www.axaptapedia.com/Dynamics_Ax_4.0_installation
